Pat Sanborn and I saw the immature Golden Eagle today (Jan. 22) at 12:30
soaring over the Kennebec River near the Fairfield bridges. We had just
turned north on the River Rd. from Rt. 139 for a second loop around the
area when we saw it soaring ahead of us, being harassed by a couple of
crows. It soared directly overhead, drifting slowly south and west.
