[Maine-birds] Laudholm Farm 7/20: 84 Species incl. Little Gulls, Solitary Sandpiper, etc.

I had a very good morning of birding at the Wells National Estuarine Research Reserve at Laudholm this morning. Notable species and counts were:

Great Blue Heron 28

Snowy Egret 26

Bald Eagle 1 - Immature

Virginia Rail 2

Solitary Sandpiper 1 - pilger/muskie trail overlook

Little Gull 3

Roseate Tern 1

Pileated Woodpecker 1 - near entrance

Northern Rough-winged Swallow 1

Bank Swallow 90

swallow sp. 2500

Marsh Wren 7

Brown Thrasher 8
