[Maine-birds] Scarlet Tanagers, Hatchet Mountain Preserve, Hope

While on Coastal Mountains Land Trust's Hatchet Mountain Preserve in Hope this afternoon, I heard two Scarlet Tanagers--one singing in an oak near the base of the hill and one singing (at the same time) near the summit. The addition of more expected songbirds--Hermit Thrushes, Red-eyed Vireos, and trilling juncos--made for an acoustically enjoyable if wicked hot walk up and down the hill.
