Yesterday while walking down the Hut Road I spotted a first for me up here, an Eastern Meadowlark, on one of the few bare patches of ground over here.
-- Used to see them all the time when I lived in Alabama...
Also red winged blackbirds, grackles, robins, heard a couple Evening Grosbeaks calling, and some sparrows I haven't been able to identify yet...
