Visitors:
2 people visited the hawk watch during the count today.

Weather:
The weather started out with light rain and dense fog in the morning. Fog persisted throughout the day offering only partial visibility from 1100 (EST) to 1330 (EST) at which point rain and dense fog clouded in the summit closing the watch for the day.

Raptor Observations:
1 Turkey Vulture was observed migrating today within the 2.5 hours the hawk watch was open.

Non-raptor Observations:
13 species were observed from the summit today, however, the 1 Turkey Vulture was the only recorded migrant.

Predictions:
A cold front moving out of the area tonight should give way to mostly sunny skies tomorrow with moderate northwest winds throughout the day. Some wind gusts up to 26 mph are possible mid-day. Temperatures will start out in the low to mid 30s only reaching the low 40s in the afternoon. If winds are not too strong, birds may be migrating.
