[Maine-birds] This Week's Highlights and New Arrivals, 3/21-27

Hi all,

Limited birding - and limited progression of spring - this week produced only the following highlights:
- 4 fly-over Horned Larks, our yard in Pownal - Yard Bird #127!
- only 8 species of waterfowl at the Mouth of the Abby, Bowdoinham, on 3/26, led by 400+ American Black Ducks but including 8 Northern Pintails.
- nice wave of Song Sparrows late this week.

And my personal FOYs this week included:
- 2 Wood Ducks, Old Town House Park, North Yarmouth, 3/21.
- 1 Spring Peeper, Spear Farm Estuary Preserve, Yarmouth, 3/27.

Bird Safe,
Derek
