[Maine-birds] This Week's Highlights and New Arrivals, 4/11-17

Hi all,
My observations of note over the past seven days included the following:
- 1 female KING EIDER, Wharton Point, Brunswick, 4/11 (as previously reported).
- 1 Northern Goshawk, Bradbury Mountain Spring Hawkwatch, 4/12.
- Great Horned Owl on nest, private property in Pownal, 4/17.

And my personal FOY's this week were as follows:
- 13 Broad-winged Hawks, Bradbury Mountain Spring Hawkwatch, 4/12.
- 1 Hermit Thrush (first migrant of spring), Wolfe's Neck Woods State Park, Freeport, 4/13 (with Jeannette).
- 1 Blue-headed Vireo, Morgan Meadow WMA, 4/14.
- 1 Northern Rough-winged Swallow, Florida Lake Park, Freeport, 4/15.
