Thanks all, the consensus is either a small alcid or a tern. Alas, did not see either alive that day due to fog, despite going all the way out to Pond head to look for Gannets.

Found this skeleton on Great Wass Island shore while hiking last weekend. About pigeon-sized. I thought possibly a petrel species. Anyone have any ideas?
