[Maine-birds] Sandy Point Morning Flight, 9/15

Hi all,

A very good flight passed over and through Sandy Point Beach, Cousin's Island, Yarmouth this am.

6:19-9:18am
41F, partly cloudy with high smoke haze, NW 7.25-9.5mph decreasing to 5.3-7.1mph.

3-4 hunting Merlins and 1 Sharp-shinned Hawk made counting a challenge as birds were often reluctant to cross and/or turned around. Smoke haze and some low clouds impacted color perception, especially for early high birds leading to a higher percentage of unidentified birds.
