Hi all,
The HOARY REDPOLL discovered by John Lorenc on Saturday near Back Cove
Park in Portland continued this afternoon. I parked in the lot off
Preble Street opposite Hannaford and walked about a tenth of a mile
east alongside the temporary construction fence before encountering a
small flock of redpolls, which included one Hoary Redpoll. They were
feeding on weed seeds at the base of a low erosion control fence
between the trail and the water.
