Visitors:
7 visitors today.

Weather:
The count was delayed by hour due to dense fog at the summit. A cloudy sky made spotting raptors much easier today. A cold south wind kept visitors from lingering too long on the summit.

Raptor Observations:
Today was a good day for raptors. Turkey Vulture migration is clearly ramping up. TUVU's were still migrating during the last hour of the count. We're still waiting on our first American Kestrel of the season.

Non-raptor Observations:
Species deemed migrating were as follows: American Robin: 20 American Crow: 15 Common Grackle: 20 Blackbird Spp.: 600 Canada Goose: 106 Red Crossbill: 4 Duck Spp.: 10 A total of 25 species were detected from the summit today.

Predictions:
Chance of rain tomorrow morning. South winds should bring us more birds, especially Turkey Vultures
