Visitors:
23 visitors today. The summit was just as crowded as yesterday.

Weather:
Today was sunny and HOT (for March, anyway). Temps ranged from 44 to 59. Winds started out of the west but shifted to the south by mid day.

Raptor Observations:
Raptor migration wasn't as great as yesterday but still good for March. FOS Northern Harrier (2). Birds were high up in the blue sky, which made counting difficult. Highlight of the day: A 2nd Black Vulture! This bird gave much better looks than the bird yesterday. Discussions were had about the possibility that this was actually the same bird as yesterday. Both birds took flight paths consistent with migration, we'll count them as 2 individuals but keep an eye out in case we have a Black Vulture going back and forth every day.

Non-raptor Observations:
We had a great Canada Goose flight this morning, with over 970 birds passing north past the summit. We had 4 Red Crossbills flyby in the afternoon. Other migrants include: Blackbird spp: 80 Red-winged Blackbird: 33 Common Grackle: 245 European Starling: 18 American Robin: 9 A total of 24 species were detected from the summit.

Predictions:
Winds generally out of the south tomorrow, another cloudless sky. We expect migration to be similar to what we witnessed today.
