Visitors:
30 visitors today. Lots of birders up at the summit helping us today, so many that I certainly missed some names and some very helpful folks will likely be left off the official observer's list, my apologies!

Weather:
Today was super nice up at the summit. Temps ranged from 48 to 63. Winds were fairly calm out of the west for the first half of the day, but rotated to the south and increased in magnitude as the day progressed. Skies were partly cloudy all day.

Raptor Observations:
Today was a great day, with lots of Broad-wings and good raptor diversity! In our best hour, we had 123 Broad-wings. Due to the awesome thermal development today, most broad-wings were way up above our heads; tiny specks in the sky. During the last 90 minutes of the day, the thermals started to get knocked down and birds passed by fairly close.

Non-raptor Observations:
1 Glossy Ibis was spotted today! Other migrants are as follows: Great Blue Heron: 5 Canada Goose: 4 American Robin: 1 Common Grackle: 1 Killdeer: 1 Double-crested Cormorant: 100 Tree Swallow: 62 Passerine Spp.: 25 30 species were detected from the summit, including FOS Yellow-rumped Warbler.

Predictions:
Tomorrow is destined to be another great Broad-wing day. Winds will be moderate out of the southwest, and skies will be partly cloudy. It's going to be hot (temps peaking in the high 60's).
