Birding folks:
A colleague wrote to me with this question. Can anyone supply information
on what this robin might be doing? Thanks.
"Behind our house in Waterville is a vacant house and a Robin has been
flying to a second story window, fluttering against it and then going back
to perch on the branch of a tree. It has been doing this, literally, all
day. I fear it will die of exhaustion. It flutters all over the window and
then goes back to the tree branch briefly and starts over again. Any idea
what is happening with it??"
