I'm passing along a report from Jeff Webb who just reported seeing a juvenile GOLDEN EAGLE flying from the direction of the Jetport over I95 and heading toward the Stroudwater area of Portland at 1:50 PM. He described the bird as a very large dark raptor with prominent symmetrical white patches both above and below the wing, flapping and flying fairly low (just clearing the overpass) while gradually circling upward. He saw the bird while driving and was unable to locate it after driving around the UNUM campus.
