Visitors:
7 people visited the Hawkwatch today.

Weather:
The weather was not as bad as we had feared, at least from a comfort standpoint with enough clothes. The morning featured some patchy drizzle and moderate north wind. As the day progressed, winds died down a bit and shifted to the east. The sun peeked out at the end of the day and temperatures stayed pretty constant around 50F.

Raptor Observations:
A slow raptor migration day. The sightings were spread out throughout the day, with one kettle of 6 Turkey Vultures accounting for half the total. A few locals were out and about, but even they were not too active, and mostly in the later day when the sun broke out. A dog fight between an immature Red-shouldered and adult Red-tailed Hawk was entertaining in the afternoon, however.

Non-raptor Observations:
Not much else was moving either. One Palm Warbler spent a few minutes at the summit, but no other species were deemed as migrating today. 27 species were seen or heard from the summit today.

Predictions:
Low pressure off of Nova Scotia continues to spin and keep us in a northeasterly flow for at least one more day. Overall, tomorrow is forecast to be quite similar to today, but with more sun and a few degrees warmer. That will hopefully encourage a few more migrants to move than did today.
