I saw four gadwall drakes and one Am. wigeon drake feeding with a bunch of black ducks and mallards today on the Deep Cove Rd in Eastport. It's feeling like one of those years when migrating waterfowl can get bottlenecked along the coast because the big rivers stay frozen longer. We'll see how much thawing occurs between now and the end of the month.
