[Maine-birds] Deer and sunflowers seeds

Sorry, I forgot to state the location--Cherryfield--of the photo of deer eating sunflower seeds from bird feeders.

Below is a link to a BDN article on the subject. Apparently "large quantities" of un-hulled sunflower seeds are bad, can even be deadly, to deer in the winter. Apparently hulled ones are OK, at least the article does not say otherwise.
