[Maine-birds] Additional Highlights This Week, 6/24-28

Hi all,
My post-WINGS-tour observations of note over the past five days included:
- Glossy Ibis have been regular in the saturated farm fields (and even front yards!) from the Greater Yarmouth Goose Fields through Pownal and Durham and into Brunswick. This is a regular occurrence in spring, but relatively rare in mid-breeding season and I do not recall so many in such a widespread area at this season. Still looking for the White-faced Ibis among them.
- 1 singing male Blackpoll Warbler, Peak's Island, 6/24 (with Jeannette).
- 1 breeding-plumaged drake Long-tailed Duck, Peak's Island, 6/24 (with Jeannette).
- 1 drake LESSER SCAUP with 3 drake GREATER SCAUP, Wharton Point, Brunswick, 6/27.
- 27 Black Scoters, Simpson's Point, Brunswick, 6/27.
