[Maine-birds] Jackman area BBS

We still have a few spaces left for experienced birders to help out with a block-busting party for the Maine Breeding Bird Survey this weekend. If birding largely undeveloped areas around Holeb Twp., Attean Pond, Stony Brook, and Heald Pond floats your boat, we could use your help!  Base of operations is a well-equipped seasonal camp on Crocker Pond, west of Jackman.  We'll be there from Thursday mid-day through Monday afternoon, but it's OK if you want to come for a shorter period within that window.  Most of our daylight hours will be devoted to completing priority blocks for the survey, but we will come together each evening for a group supper and stories before an early bedtime. If this sounds like your idea of fun in the Maine woods, please contact me offline. Thanks!
