[Maine-birds] EURASIAN COLLARED-DOVE continues, Monhegan

Donna Cundy had told me that the big dove was still hanging around out here, calling every morning, and sure enough, I heard it this morning for about an hour and got a glimpse at one point. It seems to be very faithful to the area between the Trailing Yew and the brewery.

Some other birds I noted here today include Brown Thrasher, Swainson's Thrush, Golden-crowned Kinglet, Winter Wren, Black-throated Green Warbler, Yellow Warbler, Am. Redstart, Common Yellowthroat, and Cedar Waxwings. Saw Common Eiders with chicks in the surf below Black Head. I also heard a Merlin yelling at one point today, while on trail #14 from Pebble Beach.
