[Maine-birds] Golden-winged Warbler X at Sears Island

An apparent Golden-winged Warbler hybrid was found this morning by Jim Mcree at Sears Island, Waldo County.  Apart from yellow on the breast it looks like an adult male GWWA.  The bird was being seen feeding in an apple tree along the northeast shore of the island where the Homestead Trail meets the beach.  This is just south of the ramp by the information kiosk.  It was observed for close to two hours and could very well be there through the day as it was still feeding in the same tree when I left at 11:10 am.

Good Birding,
John  (sorry for posting a photo - I tried to keep it low-res)
