[Maine-birds] Re: Chuck-will’s-widow

Not too far away in Holden our resident Cat Bird has been imitating the Chuck-will's-widow song as part of its repertoire.

I think there are two. I heard the first one at 9:00 Tuesday night at the stakeout on Valley Road at the Wildlands and then heard one calling 15 minutes later as I was walking back to my car. I doubt the first one would have moved that far. Also heard at least two whip-poor-wills and two nighthawks.  The goatsucker trifecta.
