[Maine-birds] Brant and Tree Swallows--Kettle Cove

Along with several more routine species, Laura and I found a dozen Brant at Kettle Cove, three quite near the parking area, and nine that flew by and settled onto the water closer to the beach. More astonishing for the date was a little flock of 5-8 Tree Swallows, at first 150' overhead and climbing. Very brief sighting but ID'ed independently by both of us before we spoke.
