Hi all,
I know nearly all the birdcalls around my house through the season, but I just started hearing a new one; two notes, the second one rising up in pitch, volume, and length. Very loud, one of the loudest around. The closest I can think is a cardinal, but it's always these exact two notes.
We're on a lake near Winthrop, Maine.
Any thoughts much appreciated, to help me narrow my search.
