Laura Zitske, Maine Audubon's Director of the Piping Plover and Least Tern Project, just texted (11:24AM) that there is a WILSON'S PLOVER on Popham Beach. Last message said "was just chased off by a very unhappy Piping Plover" but wanted to get the word out asap. If it is like the 2016 bird at Popham, it may linger and birders should also keep an eye on Seawall Beach.
Good birding,
