Re: [Maine-birds] Pelican flyby at East Point Sanctuary

Great timing, I was just sent photos of an American White Pelican that was photographed on Saturday (6 June) morning, sitting on "The Nubbin" in Casco Bay. Not saying they are definitely the same birds, but the proximity of sightings is suggestive of that.

A pelican just flew by East Point Sanctuary in Biddeford Pool heading south. Could not pick up any details but it appeared to be a dark bird overall. Got distant flight shots showing distinct silhouette. Keep your eyes out!
