[Maine-birds] Virginia Rail

June 28 - I drive around on old roads, often dirt,  just for entertainment and often stop for wetlands and old cemeteries. Tonight I had just stopped at a wetland on the Chamberlain Meetinghouse Road in Corinna and was ready to get out of the car when I saw 2 juvenile Virginia Rail on the edge of the road. On the Bond Road, also in Corinna, there were several Cowbirds keeping company with a horse.
