I easily found the cooperative Black-headed Gull at the lobster pound area in Owls Head Harbor today about 11:30-12:15. It was nearly low tide and he was one of only a couple of gulls (Bonapartes and Herring), a Bufflehead, female red-breasted merganser, and a few Mallards in the empoundment area. He then flew off to the far left to feed in the sand for awhile since the tide was out and then came back to the pound on the right. Photos taken.
