The 3 Canvasbacks at Stroudwater Crossing continued today. Two females and a male, hanging out with Bufflehead and Red-breasted Mergansers, about 300 yards down stream from the bridge. Also present were two drake Green-winged Teal.
Other notable birds included 13+ Iceland Gulls (all first winter, that I could tell) and 1 Glaucous Gull (3rd winter) along the Portland Waterfront, and a single drake Common Merganser in the Saco river, downstream from the Saco Yacht Club.
