[Maine-birds] Golden Eagle

Saw the Golden Eagle twice at Flood Farms. The first was at the fields to the south the second was a more memorable sighting. At about 1:15 I saw a dark bird over the river coming towards the farm. The bird made a pass at some crows then soared low and slow right over me for about three to four minutes. A sensational look at the bird. On the way back to South Portland I traveled onto rte 126 in Gardner and saw the shrike reported earlier this week right across from the Gardner Middle School near the ball field across the street.
