The Saco River, viewed from Water Street in Saco, continues to host a BARROW'S GOLDENEYE daily and at least one of the RING-NECKED DUCKS persists.
Greater Portland
A CANVASBACK was seen near the East End boat ramp in Portland on the 25th.
Three CANVASBACKS continued at the Stroudwater Crossing on the Fore River, last reported on the 22nd.
The 'OREGON' DARK-EYED JUNCO that visited feeders in Cumberland back on the 16th, returned again on the 25th.
The CANVASBACK frequenting the Royal River in Yarmouth was last seen on the 23rd.
Up to five CANVASBACKS have been seen in the Presumpscot River at the Route 9 bridge.
Kennebec River Valley (Augusta-Waterville)
A GOLDEN EAGLE continues to be seen around The Flood Brothers Farm in Clinton. The bird is often seen from Wyman Road or near the farm along River Road.
Midcoast
On the 21st, a DOVEKIE was seen off Reid State Park in Georgetown.
First seen on the 26th, a PAINTED BUNTING has been visiting private feeders in Boothbay.
Penobscot Bay
A BLACK-HEADED GULL, continuing from January 11th, was reported again on the 21st in Owl's Head Harbor. A BONAPARTE'S GULL continues to be seen here as well.
Downeast
Beginning on the 26th, a RUSTY BLACKBIRD was visiting feeders off Gilbert Farm Road in Bar Harbor.
Northern Maine
A NORTHERN HAWK OWL was found this week in Houlton. The bird has been seen a short distance down Access Road near York's car dealership.
