Jan 20, 2013 11:20 AM - 11:40 AM
Protocol: Stationary
Comments: Tom Hayward, Joan and myself had an opportunity afforded by Bohemian Waxwing and a shrub call Pythia, with its black berries and appeal to a Bombycillidae winter specialty bird in Maine.
Thank you Tom.

Bohemian Waxwing (Bombycilla garrulus) 22
Douglas Point Emery Cove, Hancock, US-ME
Jan 20, 2013 10:00 AM - 11:25 AM
Protocol: Stationary
Comments: Tom Hayward, Ed and myself finally found the cavity which we suspected the RHWP was using. The bird was sticking it head out a little at a time as I slowly coaxed it out with some quiet pishing. Finally it emerged and started to show off its amazing plumage. Today was a warm day in the 40's F but windy with a west-south-west wind. This bird is on private property. Please call 479-4256 to make arrangements to see this bird. Thank you
