Beautiful morning to visit Reid State Park with Derek Lovitch. In
addition to many Red-Necked Grebes and Razorbills--many feeding
offshore with gulls--I managed to finally spot a nemesis life bird, a
DOVEKIE, feeding actively right offshore between the two beaches. I
couldn't have asked for a better opportunity to observe a life bird in
action. John Berry and Derek got photos, thankfully. Derek will post
other highlights of our day later, but that was the big thrill for me!
