York County
On the 19th, a SNOWY OWL was flushed by dogs from Seapoint in Kittery and settled behind Crescent Beach.
A SNOWY OWL was photographed at the Nubble Lighthouse in Cape Neddick during the York County CBC on the 16th.
Also during the York County CBC on the 16th, a CLAY-COLORED SPARROW was found at the Wells Sewage Treatment facility.
At least three SNOWY OWLS continue to be seen along Mile Stretch Road in Biddeford as of the 18th.
Greater Portland
Five BARROW'S GOLDENEYES were seen from Peak's Island during the Greater Portland CBC on the 14th.
A new high count of SNOWY OWLS for the Greater Portland CBC was set on the 14th with 8 individuals being reported. Locations included Mackworth Island, Prout's Neck, and the Scarborough Marsh.
On the 19th, a SNOWY OWL was photographed in Portland's Back Cove.
Grondin Pond in Scarborough hosted a LESSER BLACK-BACKED GULL, a GADWALL, one RING-NECKED DUCK, plus two of each GREATER and LESSER SCAUPS on the 19th.
Lewiston-Auburn
On the 14th, a SNOWY OWL was reported sitting on a fence post on Littlefield Road, just off outer Lisbon Street in Lisbon.
Midcoast
On the 16th, a juvenile GOLDEN EAGLE was photographed at the Bath Landfill, located at the end of Detritus Drive. The eagle was last reported as being present on the 19th despite various parties looking.
During the Bath-Phippsburg-Georgetown CBC on the 14th, Maine's sixth PINK-FOOTED GOOSE was photographed in Mill Cove at the end of Sabino Road in West Bath. The goose continued here on the morning of the 15th but was not seen again as of that afternoon.
Penobscot Bay
A SNOWY OWL was seen at the west end of the runway at the Knox County Regional Airport in Owl's Head on the 17th and continued in a short spruce close to Route 73 at the end of the runway on the morning of the 18th. Another report confirmed this owl was still present on the 19th.
On the 19th, there was a report of a possible VARIED THRUSH at the end of Porter Road near Chickawaukie Pond in Rockland.
Central Maine
Since November 12th, a NORTHERN HAWK OWL has been seen near the intersection of Route 116 (Penobscot Valley Ave / Route 95 Connector Road) and Route 2 (West Broadway). The bird has also been seen further east on Penobscot Valley Ave, near the railroad tracks. On the 14th, the owl was reported 50-100 yards off the road between Bedford Farm Road and Stone Wall Farm, about 1/2 mile south of the intersection with Penobscot Valley Ave. And on the 19th the owl was being seen at its original location.
Downeast
A SNOWY OWL was reported on the 19th near the Maine Coast Heritage Trust's Bog Brook Preserve in Trescott.
Northern Maine
On the 20th, a SNOWY OWL was seen on the Route 161 bypass near Woodland.
