[Maine-birds] Bluebirds abandoned nest box

For many years, we have had wonderful bluebirds in our bluebird house. This year was no exception. They arrived mid-March, and had been  nest building .
I was sure they had eggs, but did not look in the box.
Three days ago, we stopped seeing both birds, and were concerned. Looked in the nest box, and saw five lovely eggs.
Today, still no sight or sound of the adults.
What is the best thing to do? This seems so sad.
