[Maine-birds] This Week's Highlights and New Arrivals, 4/20-26

Hi all,
A handful of highlights this week for me included:
- 250 "Yellow" Palm Warblers and 175 Yellow-rumped Warblers, plus 100+ Tree Swallows, 10 Ring-necked Ducks, etc, Florida Lake Park, Freeport, 4/20 (with Saturday Morning Birdwalk Group).
- 128 Purple Sandpipers and 6 Dunlin, and 140+ Long-tailed Ducks, Pine Point Beach, Scarborough, 4/23 (with Katrina Fenton).
- 1 RED CROSSBILL, Pine Point neighborhood, 4/23 (with Katrina Fenton).
- 3 pairs of Gadwall continue, Pelreco marsh, Scarborough Marsh, 4/23 (with Katrina Fenton).
- 2 BLUE-GRAY GNATCATCHERS, Capisic Pond Park, Portland, 4/25.
- up to 9 Evening Grosbeaks have been frequenting our Pownal yard this week.
 
And my personal FOY's/first-of-spring included the following:
- BLUE-GRAY GNATCATCHER: 1, Old Town House Park, North Yarmouth, 4/22.
- Yellow-bellied Sapscuker: 1, Old Town House Park, 4/22.
- Bonaparte's Gull (first of spring): 8, Pine Point Beach, 4/23 (with Katrina Fenton).
- Piping Plover: 1 pair, Pine Point Beach, 4/23 (with Katrina Fenton).
- Northern Waterthrush: 1, Florida Lake Park, Freeport, 4/26.
