[Maine-birds] It's the Eagles 2 and the Ospreys nothing

While conducting my river survey in So Warren this morning, I witnessed 2 eagle piracies within a 10 minute span. An adult BE stood on the shoreline feeding on some carrion. Meanwhile a second adult BE chased down an osprey, causing it to drop its fish. The alewife landed nearly ontop of the first eagle who proceeded to eat it. Then a third eagle stole a fish from a different osprey.  All together, 5 eagles were tallied during my 15 minute survey: 3a; 2 imm. Cormorants are massing at various points along the river - easily 500 birds below the RTE 1 bridge in Thomaston today.
