[Maine-birds] Turkey Vultures

My husband and I were birding down in Gardiner along the Kennebec River up to Augusta and we saw three turkey vultures. One over the river in Gardiner and two in Augusta. On the open water in Gardner there were 35 to 40 Mallards, one common Goldeneye female, many Herring gulls and a half-dozen Ring-billed Gulls. We also had an adult Bald Eagle in the trees along the river.

A beautiful afternoon for birding!
