Re: [Maine-birds] breeding codes

This may be redundant but may be useful that two letter codes indicate levels of "confirmed" breeding while single letter codes represent lesser possible or probable codes. Perhaps people have noticed that. Not sure if it has been stated explicitly.

Another thing to consider, on 4 February 2020, Andy documented these birds bringing sticks to the nest and appropriately coded that observation as NB--Nest Building. NB is considered a "confirmed" breeding code, so for the atlas, Bald Eagle is Confirmed in the Alfred SW block, and done for the atlas! The reason I mention this, is we'd love to encourage birders to work on completing Priority Blocks this year. The Alfred SW block is already complete, but there are Priority Blocks adjacent to the east (Alfred SE) and south (North Berwick NW: https://ebird.org/atlasme/block/43070C6NW) that need more effort to complete.
