Today (20 November) I had a flock of 18 Pine Grosbeaks at 2:50pm in the fruit trees at the Topsham Fair Mall (parking lot in front of Joann Fabrics). I saw 14 here yesterday at 2:40 pm, and they have been present since at least 18 November.
All are female type (I have yet to discover an adult male) and are feeding on the seeds (not the actual fruit) of the numerous crabapples there.
