[Maine-birds] Short-eared Owl - Scarborough, 11/16

Turk Duddy just called to report a Short-eared Owl at the Scarborough Marsh (presumably the one that has been reported daily since Fyn Kynd found it off the Eastern Road on 13 Nov) is currently (12:40PM) sitting on the white directional sign that is along the Nonesuch River, straight out behind the Maine Audubon Nature Center on Pine Point Road.

While I'd usually encourage discretion reporting owls, this seems like a good "chase opportunity" as there is little possibility for disturbance at this location.

Good birding,
