York County

A boat trip from Rye Harbor, NH was able to locate a continuing SUMMER TANAGER on Smuttynose Island, ME.

On the 7th a WHITE-EYED VIREO was seen along the Purgis Trail at Laudholm Farm in Wells.

Greater Portland

A drake NORTHERN SHOVELER was found at Payson Park in Portland on the 4th.

Highlights from the Scarborough Marsh this period include continuing WHITE-FACED IBIS and TRICOLORED HERON.

Central Maine

Continuing from June 2nd, the SCISSOR-TAILED FLYCATCHER was seen along Route 100 at the Burham/Pittsfield town line until the 6th.

Unusual in this region, up to three PRAIRIE WARBLERS are being heard around the Orono Bog Boardwalk.

A COMMON GALLINULE was seen again on the 6th at the Essex Woods Marsh in Bangor.

Downeast

On the 4th, a pair of EVENING GROSBEAKS visited feeders in Cherryfield.
