Wally Sumner called to say that he saw the Scissor-tailed Flycatcher this morning about 8:15 a.m. Like yesterday, the bird was on the wires right at or just north of the Pittsfield - Burnham town line (near the sign) on Rt 100. The rain is still falling, and the bird was last seen going into a large tree on the east (river) side of the road. Maybe bring a bucket of crickets to help it out...[just kidding].
