Very quiet in terms of birds at Baybridge Estates in Brunswick but spotted a beautiful belted kingfisher, either a juvenile or adult female, perched on a tree, and then flying and issuing its nattering call. Does anyone know why it would've been hanging out where all the water was completely frozen over as far as you could see?
