Had this drake Barrow's Goldeneye in Ducktrap Harbor (Lincolnville) this afternoon: http://www.flickr.com/photos/wnbirder/8346696903/ Not a great shot, but it is very easy to see what species
it is.
I wouldn't be surprised if this bird is still around tomorrow. It was about 150 yards off the beach, with COGO's when I saw it.
Also checked Owls Head Harbor earlier in the day, hoping for a Black-headed Gull. No luck, but I did have four Bonaparte's Gulls in the lobster pound.
