[Maine-birds] Marshall Point

This early morning a light-phase rough-legged hawk was hunting the
island closest to Marshall Point in Port Clyde. I am noticing a
growing number of Carolina wrens across mid-coastal areas. Currently
there are at least 5 around Rockland. We've had similar increases in
the past, only to see harsh winter conditions reduce the numbers.
Perhaps the general warming trends of more recent times will promote a
sustained range expansion of the species.
