[Maine-birds] Portland gullage and a few local notes, 1/18

Hi all,

 

Earlier today, a "survey" of Portland's Old Port turned up eleven 1st-winter Iceland Gulls and one each of 1st and 2nd-winter Glaucous.

 

Having returned from a trade show earlier this week, my birding over the past three days has been local and limited, but has included continuing Pine Grosbeaks at the Pine Tree Academy on Pownal Road in Freeport, and all three merganser species in Yarmouth Harbor. 

 

Jeannette had 1+ Evening Grosbeak(s) fly over our Pownal yard this am, and a some scattered Snow Buntings on her runs.
