Comments: Relocation of Thick-billed Murre (TBMU) was successful as I started my scan,  I picked up TBMU flying behind Old Soaker. I followed this bird for a very long distance 3-4 miles in the scope. The bird gave good profile shots as it sped away across the waves and wind. It totally disappeared as it turned into the East-Southeasterly wind and waves. There is a possibility that this bird has gone back out to sea.

I'm assuming that this is the same bird as yesterday.  I could not find any other large bodied Alcids in the area. A few good photos from yesterdays encounter. An Irregular visitor to MDI
