[Maine-birds] Gyrfalcon in Hampton, NH - YES

JoAnn O'Shaugnessy called to report that the immature (white/gray)
Gyrfalcon discovered by Wavell Fogleman Saturday during the Coastal, NH
CBC continues to be seen from the large Hampton salt marsh NORTH of the
Rt. 101 causeway. Seen near the Hampton Wastewater Treatment plant this
morning, it then flew east toward the northeastern part of the salt
marsh near the intersection of Route 101E and Route 1A. Birders should
scan the bird boxes in the marsh and any tops of buildings and poles.
It has been seen perched on condominiums on the eastern edge as well as
the utility poles along Route 101. Parking is limited, so be very
respectful of private property. The parking lot at Little Jack's
Restaurant is OK, but be respectful. Another spot is the municipal
parking lot near the church along Route 101, near where they are
installing a pump house. The Route 101 causeway may be an OK spot, but
traffic is very dangerous, and you may get pushed away by State police.
